re:publica 2008: the critical mass
Under the slogan “the critical mass” the second re:publica-conference takes place in Berlin from April 2nd to 4th. Bloggers and other netizens gather to exchange and network about cultural, medial, political and technical aspects of the Internet and new ways of communication.
In addition to the official website and wiki, a social nework has been set up with mixxt. Participants can announce their attendance and present their profile to get in touch with old and new contacts. Furthermore, the network offers possibilities of interaction and information during the conference, members can provide feedback and stay connected after the event.
